Hyundai Returns as CareerBuilder Challenge Official Vehicle with ‘Ultimate Pro-Am Experience’

Sponsorship momentum continues under new title sponsor

(LA QUINTA, Calif.) – Hyundai Motor America returns as the “Official Vehicle” of the CareerBuilder Challenge in partnership with the Clinton Foundation, the latest high-profile sponsor to sign on with the popular event.

The 2016 tournament will be the week of January 18 with official rounds scheduled for Jan. 21 through 24. The TPC Stadium Course at PGA WEST and the Jack Nicklaus Tournament Course at PGA WEST join longtime tournament mainstay La Quinta Country Club as the courses for the 2016 event, which features a $5.8 million purse.

In addition to providing a fleet of cars for tournament players, Hyundai will also sponsor the vibrant Club 17 Presented by Hyundai, a sports-bar venue located greenside of the notorious par-3 17th hole on the TPC Stadium Course at PGA WEST. Tickets are still available for the popular venue by going to www.careerbuilderchallenge.com. Club 17 Presented by Hyundai sells out every year, and this year, offers spectacular views of one of the most exciting and nerve-wracking holes on the PGA TOUR – a hole nicknamed “Alcatraz.”

On top of this, Hyundai is offering one lucky fan the Ultimate Pro-Am Experience. It’s every golfer’s dream to play in a Pro-Am with PGA TOUR professionals and starting Oct. 15, Hyundai is offering golfers just that and more. By entering Hyundai’s Ultimate Pro-Am Experience at HyundaiGolf.com, one lucky winner will receive a trip to three different PGA TOUR events, including a spot in each of the tournament’s Pro-Ams.

The winner will travel to Maui, Hawaii for the Hyundai Tournament of Champions and will play in the only Pro-Am where it’s a guaranteed pairing with a PGA TOUR winner. Following that, the winner will head to California for the CareerBuilder Challenge in partnership with the Clinton Foundation in La Quinta, CA and the very next week take a trip to San Diego, CA for the Farmers Insurance Open.

This unprecedented prize package will also include a Hyundai Genesis courtesy vehicle for use at each tournament, premium gifts including a new set of TaylorMade irons and invitations to all Pro-Am related events like the Draw Party and Awards ceremony. To enter, just go to HyundaiGolf.com before the end of November.

Bill Haas is the defending champion of the CareerBuilder Challenge, having birdied the 71st hole to break a six-man logjam and pull out a one-shot victory. It was Haas’ sixth career PGA TOUR victory and his second event victory. He is one of only eight golfers to claim multiple event titles.

The event offers tournament week Pro-Am spots and Hospitality Packages with special rates available to businesses and individuals for a limited time.
