(Phoenix, AZ) - Players Towel , featuring high performance microfiber waffle technology, announced its support of Golf Fore Africa, a non-for-profit organization dedicated to helping children in Africa orphaned or made vulnerable by poverty and the AIDS pandemic.
"We are proud to support Betsy and her foundation's efforts to raise awareness and charitable contributions for disadvantaged children in Africa," said Patrick Le Vine, President of Players Towel. "We share a core belief that by providing education, medical care and assistance and community support, a positive difference can be made in the lives of children."
"I would like to thank Patrick and the Players Towel for their support of Golf Fore Africa's 5th annual Vision of Hope LPGA Pro-Am Golf Tournament," said Betsy King, LPGA Hall of Famer and founder of Golf Fore Africa. "With the Players Towel support and sponsorship, as well as the time and dedication of the 22 leading LPGA players participating in the tournament, we believe that this year's event will help us reach our much needed goal of raising $500,000 for this important cause."
The "Vision of Hope" Pro-AM is March 12th, 2012 at the Golf Club of Scottsdale, Scottsdale, AZ. and will feature 22 LPGA professionals. All monies raised from this pro-am will go to provide safe housing for orphans and vulnerable children in Lesotho, a small country in Southern Africa.
