Keswick Hall’s Full Cry Moves Up in Golfweek’s ‘Best Resort Courses’ Rankings

(CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va.) – Keswick Hall and Golf Club – the acclaimed 600-acre luxury resort set in Virginia’s scenic Hunt Country – announces its Pete Dye-design, Full Cry at Keswick Golf Club, has moved up to No. 45 in Golfweek’s prestigious “Best Resort Courses” list for 2017.

Last year, Full Cry debuted at No. 47 which was a lofty achievement for a new course in its first year of operation. The layout also ranked No. 3 in Golfweek’s 2016 list of “Best Courses You Can Play” in Virginia and was named one of Golf Digest’s “Best New Courses” in the U.S.

“We are flattered that Full Cry continues to receive coveted recognition from major golf publications,” says Will Jones, General Manager. “Our goal to create one of the premier golf destinations in the U.S. has come to fruition, giving our members and resort guests a special place to play the game they love.”

No stranger to accolades, for the second year in a row the resort received the prestigious Forbes Five-Star Award for its exceptional level of luxury and service. Keswick Hall and Golf Club is one of only 154 properties worldwide to attain this status. Of the three Virginia properties to make the esteemed list, it is the only full-service resort.

Ideal to enjoy all the amenities Keswick Hall has to offer, the new Experience Package starts at $299 per night and features overnight accommodations in one of the resort’s elegant guestrooms plus a choice of golf for two on Full Cry (with free replay), dinner for two in its chef-driven Fossett’s restaurant, or a 60-minute couples massage in its luxurious spa. The offer is available through Feb. 28.

The region is home to Thomas Jefferson’s Monticello, the University of Virginia and numerous outdoor pursuits, drawing history buffs, wine lovers, sports enthusiasts and nature seekers year-round. Keswick Hall features newly refreshed upscale accommodations, spa services, fine dining at Fossett’s, and myriad amenities. Highly decorated, it has attained Condé Nast Traveler “gold” status, and is one of Travel + Leisure’s 500 “World’s Best Hotels.”
