Four Days of Live Action from Tiger Woods’ Quicken Loans National on ESPN+
(RELEASE) - Three former winners will highlight featured group coverage airing on ESPN+ Thursday morning from the Quicken Loans National, the first of four days of live action from the PGA TOUR tournament on ESPN+. The event is hosted by Tiger Woods at Washington, D.C., area TPC Potomac Avenel Farm.
ESPN+ is the first-ever multi-sport, direct-to-consumer premium subscription streaming service from The Walt Disney Company’s Direct-to-Consumer and International segment and ESPN.
Kyle Stanley, winner of last year’s Quicken Loans National, and D.C.-area native Billy Hurley III, winner of the event in 2016, will tee off at 8:08 a.m. ET Thursday with 2011 winner Nick Watney. Fans can follow their full round on ESPN+.
Jimmy Walker, winner of the PGA Championship in 2016, former Open Championship winner Stewart Cink and PGA TOUR veteran Billy Horschel also will be featured with their round beginning at 8:20 a.m. Featured group coverage begins at 7 a.m.
ESPN+ viewers also will be able to watch featured hole coverage from the Par 4 No. 14, as well as the Par 3 No. 17, beginning at 3 p.m. on Thursday and Friday and 1 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Weekend featured hole coverage also will include the Par 4 first hole.
ESPN+ offers golf fans 50 days of coverage from 20 PGA TOUR events, including the RBC Heritage, the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational, the FedExCup Playoffs and more.
