PGA TOUR Superstore to Open First Experiential Golf Retail Store in Tucson

New Location Marks Its Fourth in Arizona

(ATLANTA, GA) – PGA TOUR Superstore will open its first experiential Tucson retail store, introducing a new experience for golfers in the area. The store will open in early 2016 at 4215 North Oracle Road in the Tucson Fiesta Shopping Center. PGA TOUR Superstore is known for its large-format interactive stores across the country, including three Arizona stores in Chandler, North Scottsdale and Scottsdale. Its new Tucson location will be the largest golf retail store in the area.

The new 25,000 square foot PGA TOUR Superstore in Tucson will employ more than 25 associates, including PGA teaching professionals, and have multiple state-of-the-art swing simulators, practice hitting bays, a large putting green and an in-house club making and repair facility to provide a unique, interactive experience to golf enthusiasts of all levels.

“We are very excited to bring the best experiential destination in golf retail to Tucson,” said PGA TOUR Superstore President and CEO Dick Sullivan. “Tucson is an incredible market for golf, and we believe the area is underserved for golf retail. Our professional expertise and interactive environment inspire all types of golfers – from beginners to scratch golfers – to play the game and find everything they need under one roof.”

PGA TOUR Superstore is owned and operated by Golf & Tennis Pro Shop, Inc., whose controlling owner and chairman is Arthur M. Blank, retired co-founder of The Home Depot and owner of the Atlanta Falcons and Atlanta United FC.
