(Covington, Ga.) – This weekend at Tiburon Golf Club Bridgestone Golf Tour team member Brandt Snedeker and his partner edged out fellow Bridgestone Tour staffer Matt Kuchar and his partner by 2 shots to win the 2015 Franklin Templeton Shootout. Snedeker used impressive iron shots and clutch putting to help his team record a 30-under par total for the three-day event. In his team’s victory, Snedeker relied on Bridgestone’s TOUR B330 golf ball, J15 CB irons (4-PW) and J15 Forged Wedges (52-degrees and 56-degrees).
Kuchar and his partner were attempting to win the event for a 2nd time, having finished 1st or 2nd place in each of the last 4 years. In his successful showing, Kuchar relied on Bridgestone’s TOUR B330-S golf ball, J15 CB Irons (5-PW), J815 Driver (9.5 degrees) and J40 Black Oxide Wedges.
"These guys love the team format and it shows,” said Corey Consuegra, Senior Director of Marketing - Bridgestone Golf, Inc. "I love the way the guys are hitting the ball right now. These finishes are sure to give them both some tremendous momentum when the PGA TOUR official events return in Hawaii in a few weeks."
