(SOUTHERN PINES, N.C.) - Power management company Eaton announced today that its Golf Pride Grips division was the leading grip brand played by Tour and PGA professionals at the 93rd PGA Championship. The overwhelming majority, 121 players, competing in the year’s final major trusted their games to Golf Pride grips.
Golf Pride’s popular Tour Velvet family of grips were used by 75 players at Whistling Straits making it more popular than all other grip companies combined. In fact, the winners of all four of golf’s majors in 2015 used Golf Pride’s Tour Velvet grips. The 2015 PGA Championship featured 20 PGA Professionals in its field, 19 of whom of trusted their games to Golf Pride.
