(HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C.) — The Lowcountry Golf Course Owners Association (LGCOA) recently named Palmetto Dunes Oceanfront Resort Chef Don Reinheardt as its 2015 Employee of the Year.
Year after year, golfers visit Palmetto Dunes with the expectation of superior course layouts, beautiful course maintenance and elevated customer service.
“As a resort, we allow our three golf courses to speak for themselves, but hold our employees to the highest standard when it comes to customer service,” said Director of Golf Clark Sinclair. “It is our mission at Palmetto Dunes to make sure that every time a guest dines at our resort, they experience old-fashioned Southern hospitality and an unforgettable meal.
“Chef Don works tirelessly as he strives to enhance the culinary experience of every guest of the resort. We are proud of Chef’s recognition as LGCOA Employee of the Year as he embodies the values we cherish at Palmetto Dunes – bringing positivity and heart to his work in the South Carolina Lowcountry.”
“Chef Don stood out among an exemplary group of nominees this year from our membership,” said Barry Fleming, LGCOA Executive Director. “Chef Don exemplifies the countless behind-the-scenes stars that make the Lowcountry and Hilton Head area one of the premier golf destination experiences for all ages.”
