Luscious metallics, tribal designs leap from catwalk to PGA Show
(Tempe, Ariz.) - Glove It - a leading manufacturer or women's golf accessories - is bringing fashion directly from the runway and on to the range with the introduction of its 2012 collection. The industry's only fully merchandised accessories line features a wide assortment of on-trend golf gloves, shoe bags and hats, as well as cart-style golf bags. This year, the company has expanded its lineup to include off-course styles including tote bags, wristlets and cross-body bags, among others.
With its new Signature collection, Glove It turned to nature for its inspiration. The company's Python design puts a new spin on fashion's animal print obsession, adding just a touch of the sophisticated black-on-white snakeskin pattern to gloves, visors, a new golf bag and more. Likewise, its Montana lineup adds a distressed finish to a beige and cream tone-on-tone design, bringing a rich finish to a visor, military cap, glove, as well as bags, towels, club covers and cart bag.
Growing out of the recent craze for metallics, Glove It's new Bling collection brings a hint of luminescence to the range. Designed to add a splash of glam without going overboard, coil-back visors and matching gloves are made available in shimmering finishes including Gunmetal, Olive, Light Blue, Hot Pink, Turquoise, White and Black.
Nine & Wine, the new collection created in partnership the fashionable illustration house, Bloom Designs, is ideally suited for tournament tee prizes and member guest gifts. Whimsically illustrated with images of wine glasses and golf accessories, this collection pops with bright pinks and greens on a white background, accented with coordinated zippers and pulls. The Nine & Wine pattern is available on Glove It visors, caps, accessory bags, golf towels, cross-body bag, full-fingered gloves, as well as on the wine Woozie stemmed glass koozie.
Rounding out the 2012 Glove It line are offerings from its Sport series, featuring a bold pink-and-black Pinkadilly Plaid; Red Damask with gingham trim; an earthy Meadow Twin print; black-on-white Bamboo print; plus a Grecian-inspired yellow-and-granite Citron design.
