Ahead of the 2012 season, the successful, Swedish golf brand Abacus introduces a new invigorating collection for active lifestyles. Superb function combined with contemporary style is the natural foundation for the collection. The clear graphical feeling is continued with a careful hand, even though roses have been given a place in the collection. Pink, Cranberry and Lilac characterize the spring 2012 collection for women.
Abacus continues with undiminished vigor to develop good looking clothing for golf and active lifestyles. Function and material have a central role in the brand’s quality profile, something that has been given much attention by the international golfing world. Amongst others, the European team in The Solheim Cup was equipped with Abacus clothing.
“Yes, you can actually say equipped” says Abacus’ MD Sven-Olof Karlsson. “The players take the clothing very seriously and make high demands on all the details. Every garment must promote freedom of movement and do its job. And of course they must be attractive, the players want to look good and feel self-confident when they go out on the tee.”
One item from the collection that features a rose design is the Gullane. It is a soft cotton/acrylic cardigan with a decorative flower design and feminine cut. The sweater features ¾ sleeves and a decorative ribbon tape in the buttoning.
