Happy New Year!
Without a doubt, 2015 was the best year for American Golfer. Readership was up and shows no signs of stopping as we quickly approach the PGA Merchandise Show and are within 100 days of the Masters.
As a dusting of snow falls outside the office window, I thought we'd take a look back at some of the items from our rolling Holiday Gift Guide. Plan your shopping accordingly.
If you didn't get get the golf balls you wanted over the holidays, but need to restock before the season begins again, check out the S3 from Volvik, the No. 1 ball from the No. 1 Ball in Golf, Titleist, or a ball that bites - Monsta. With the exception of Monsta (www.monstagolf.com), these balls - and more - can be found at Golfballs.com.
Did you have trouble getting the ball in the hole last year? You may want to shank-proof your game with the H Wedge or switch to a TFI 2135 putter from Cleveland Golf.
With the new wedge, you'll be coming in high and hard - leaving a few ball marks. Repair those bad boys (and at least one other while you're at it) with some great items from PitchFix. But before you hit the course with your new, or existing, putter, you'd be wise to practice. Check out the Dead Zero putting disk.
Speaking of practice ... Take it to another level with the SensoGlove. In the market for a regular glove? How about a Universal Fit glove from Zero Friction? Birdie Town has a wealth of items to enhance your practice time, too.
For those just as interested in looking stylish, as they are playing well, there's the always-entertaining Loudmouth Fancy Shirts, and form-meets-function apparel by Antigua and Sunice. Pamper your feet with CEP compression socks and protect your eyes with Game Day eyewear from Under Armour.
So, you've practiced and loaded your bag with some of the hottest equipment. Don't stop there. Grab a GolfBuddy WT5 for the latest in GPS tracking.
Looking forward to a terrific 2016!
