(OAK BROOK TERRACE, IL) - Zero Friction, maker of technologically advanced performance golf products, along with its new partner, Johnny Miller, will unveil its new Johnny Miller Motion Fit Glove next week at the PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando, Fla.
Johnny Miller will make an appearance at the show to promote the new glove in the Zero Friction booth (#1973) on Wednesday from 2pm to 5pm and Thursday from 9am to noon. Additionally, Miller will host a brief Q&A session in the International Network of Golf (ING) Hospitality Room, 309A, on Wednesday at 5:15pm.
“The Zero Friction line of gloves is something the industry has needed and is long overdue” says Miller. “I believe in the Motion Fit System. It is unique, it is better, I have to be a part of it.”
In 2014, Zero Friction’s original Zero Friction Compression Fit Glove was launched in seven different colors with models for Men, Ladies, and Juniors. At last year’s PGA Merchandise Show (2015), Zero Friction released the Zero Friction Storm All Weather Golf Gloves and the Zero Friction Cabretta leather Golf Glove.
The new Johnny Miller endorsed glove will be available in 12 color combinations, and like all other of the company’s gloves, come in one size only.
“The new exclusive Johnny Miller Motion Fit glove feels good since it moves with your hand. When you play with it, you will see it has a good solid grip. In fact, I think people will say, ‘that was custom-made for my hand’ when they try it,” said Miller.
Miller won two major championships and 25 PGA Tour events before joining the NBC broadcast team in 1990. Miller, elected into the World Golf Hall of Fame in 1998, was known for his colorful attire when competing as one of the game’s best players in the 1970’s and 1980’s. In November, Miller announced he was now part-owner and endorsee for Zero Friction.
“Zero Friction has developed truly innovative products which enhance golf,” said Miller. “I am proud to be an owner and endorse for the company.”
Zero Friction is responsible for establishing the performance golf tee market, creating the first and only performance tee to ever carry the PGA TOUR logo. The company’s patented three- and four-prong designs reduce the contact area between the ball and tee by 66 percent for longer, straighter drives. Since the debut in 2005, the Zero Friction tee has earned more than 70 victories on the PGA TOUR and was official merchandise of The Open Championship at Turnberry in 2009.
Zero Friction’s most recent success story is in the golf glove segment. The company’s colorful line of compression-fit gloves for men, women and juniors takes the guesswork out of sizing. Compression-fit technology means a universal fit within the various models, and the glove that will hold its shape longer than any on the market.
Zero Friction also sells golf balls, grips tees and accessories. For more information, visit www.zerofriction.com.
