KZG to Host Golf Academy of America Grads for Master ClubFitter Course

(NORTH HOLLYWOOD, Calif.) - KZG, the #1 Custom ProLine, is hosting its three-Day Master Certification Program for recent graduates of the Golf Academy of America (GAA) to be held on April 28-30. Twelve graduates will be attending the program.

Golf Academy of America is the largest and longest running golf school in the world. The Campus Director of the Phoenix location, Tim Eberlein, is a PGA Master Professional as well as one of the World’s Top 100 ClubFitters. “There is a need and a niche for clubfitting in our industry” says Tim Eberlein, who is committed to growing the game and knows that teaching and clubfitting are symbiotic: you can’t have one without the other.

“There is a serious shortage of qualified professional fitters to serve the golfing public” reports Jennifer King, President of KZG. “KZG and Golf Academy of America are both trying to change this sad statistic. It is widely accepted that becoming a qualified clubfitter takes serious training and experience making GAA students perfect candidates. For twenty years, the top veteran teachers and fitters have come from around the globe to hone and update their skills with KZG.”

KZG’s Master ClubFitting Program is a symposium for the top clubfitting and teaching professionals who wish to practice their craft at the highest level. The attendees of the Program will cover every aspect of fitting including: (1) Fitting Variables such as clubhead design/specifications (loft, lie, face angle, etc.), shaft profile, club length, etc. and how they affect ball flight, (2) Pre-fitting Interview & Club Analysis, (3) Static v. Dynamic Fitting; (4) understanding product potential to create effective test clubs; (5) how to properly educate the player about club dynamics; (6) Launch monitor data assessment, (7) conducting hands on practice fittings, and (8) an indepth session in KZG’s build department as the build is equally important as the fit, including weight sorting, spine aligning and frequency matching.

Together, the GAA and KZG plan on growing the game from the ground up! Better clubs, better lessons, happier golfers, more play.
