Zero Friction’s DistancePro GPS Glove up for Grabs in ING/Jamison Booth at World Amateur

(OAK BROOK TERRACE, IL) – Zero Friction will be a prize sponsor in the ING/Jamison Golf Group booth in the 34th Annual Myrtle Beach World Am Golf Expo in late August.

DistanceProGloveThe Myrtle Beach World Amateur is the largest event of its kind, boasting 72 holes of net, stroke play with over 3,000 golfers competing simultaneously on over 50 of Myrtle Beach's best golf courses. Each evening competitors and their guests head to the Myrtle Beach Convention Center to take part in the World's Largest 19th Hole.

Part of the nightly activities is the Golf Expo, in which ING/Jamison Golf Group will be among the 52 exhibitors. The booth will feature nightly fantasy golf contests and raffles, from which attendees can win dozens of prizes.

Among those prizes will be the Zero Friction DistancePro GPS Glove that has taken the golf industry by storm since debuting in 2016 at the PGA Fashion & Demo Experience in Las Vegas. Powered by Bluetooth, the GPS device sits comfortably on the glove flap and weighs less than half an ounce.

One journalist calls the new GPS glove “the handiest GPS system you will find.” Another long time sports writer said, “The beauty of this product is that you don’t have to carry around yet another gizmo on the course.” And another wrote “GPS has migrated from your phone or watch to the back of your hand.”

Zero Friction first entered the golf glove market in 2015 and has continued to evolve.  Golf Hall of Famer Johnny Miller was so impressed when introduced to Zero Friction in 2015 that he took a stake in the company.   The glove took top honors in the Product Ingenuity - Emerging Companies category of the 24th Annual ING Industry Honors awards program, called by many the "Academy Awards of the Golf Industry.”  In 2017, Zero Friction was named the official golf tee and glove of the World Long Drive Association (WLDA).  For more information, visit www.zerofriction.com, or call 847-436-4262.
