2014 LPGA Rolex Player of the Year to Play B330-RX On LPGA TOUR in 2015
(Covington, Ga.) — Bridgestone Golf, the #1 Ball-Fitter in Golf, announced today that it is bolstering its world-class Tour Team with the addition of LPGA star Stacy Lewis. Lewis, a two-time LPGA Major Champion and reigning 2014 Rolex Player of the Year award winner, will join fellow Bridgestone Golf LPGA stars Paula Creamer, Jennifer Johnson, Ai Miyazato and Karrie Webb in trusting her game to the Bridgestone Golf TOUR B330-RX golf ball in 2015.
Lewis, who in 2014 became the first American player since 1993 to sweep all three of the LPGA’s most prestigious season honors (Rolex Player of the Year, Vare Trophy (Lowest Scoring Average) and Money List title), will make her season debut using the B330-RX this week at the Coates Golf Championship at Golden Ocala Golf and Equestrian Club.
Bridgestone’s TOUR B330-RX ball features the company’s patented Hydro Core Technology. This one-of-a-kind technology provides golfers with swing speeds less than 105 mph longer distance and greater accuracy.
“I couldn’t be more excited to become part of the Bridgestone Golf tour team,” said Lewis. “Bridgestone has firmly established itself as one of the top equipment brands in golf and after testing their B330-RX golf ball, I knew that was the ball to help me take my game to the next level.”
In her brilliant career, Lewis has amassed 11 LPGA victories thus far including 2 majors. The terms of the deal were not disclosed.
