Australian Lofts Up to Win Event, Punches Ticket to Augusta
In the same week that saw the first-ever 14 degree driver available at retail, Senden further validated the need to loft up for longer, straighter drives, playing his TaylorMade SLDR 430 Driver lofted up to 12 degrees to attack the narrow fairways in breezy conditions. On the greens, Senden buckled down to make critical putts down the stretch with his Ghost Tour Monte Carlo putter.
The win is Senden’s second career PGA Tour victory and first since the 2006 John Deere Classic. With the victory, Senden is projected to move from 83rd to 14th in the FedExCup standings.
TaylorMade was the No. 1 driver, fairway, hybrid and iron brand played at the event.
In Senden’s Bag:
* SLDR 430 Driver (12°)
* RBZ Tour Fairway (14.5°)
* Tour Preferred (2011) MB Irons (3-PW)
* Ghost Tour Monte Carlo Putter
