The Palms Golf Club Launches All-New Website

(La Quinta, Calif.) - The Palms Golf Club, a premier private club in the Palm Springs area since 1999, has launched a lively, video-driven website at www.thepalmsgc.org.

This very unique site is divided into two sections: one for the public, the other only for members. It now features 40 videos, including hole-by-hole aerial fly-overs. Other videos on the website feature well-known golf personalities, such as Scott McCarron, Byron Smith, Jeff Gove, Hollis Stacy and Brian Curley just to name a few.

"This website launch will allow our members and non-members to have access to The Palms' resources," says J.D. Ebersberger, COO and Director of Golf at The Palms, and a member of the Southern California PGA Hall of Fame. "It helps us highlight that The Palms is where traditions are preserved and lifelong friendships are made."

Also new to the website are photos of the entire staff, updated contact information, a newsletter page and a special announcement page.

The Palms Golf Club worked with Bob Russo Productions, LLC (www.bobrussoproductions.com) to produce the photographs, videos and text used to construct its new website.

"Bob's work helped us highlight important elements of our club that many here were just taking for granted,"  said Ebersberger, chief operating officer and director of golf. "Through our collaborative efforts, we've set a new, higher standard for what private golf clubs say about themselves through their websites."

"The content used to describe private golf clubs to various constituents, including prospective new members, has needed renovation," said Russo, whose golf background includes collegiate and amateur play, USGA Rules officiating, journalism and broadcast.  Ebersberger agreed, saying, "Bob convinced us that our story of traditions, camaraderie, commemoration and values were equally important as the physical aspects of our golf course."

Founded in 1999, The Palms Golf Club is a Brian Curley design located in La Quinta, Calif. The 7,081-yard, old-style golf club was inspired by greatness. The routing features three par-fives, five par-threes and 10 demanding par-fours. You'll find firm, fast bentgrass greens, challenging tree-lined doglegs and hazards that present tournament conditions every day. The course is home to more than 50 professionals, including Arnold Palmer, Fred Couples, Jeff Gove, Byron Smith, Jennifer Johnson, John Jacobs, Hollis Stacy, John Schroeder and Frank Beard -- as well as many senior players who regularly compete nationally.
