PGA TOUR Superstore’s Ralph A. Stokes Named to Georgia State Golf Association Executive Committee

(ATLANTA, GA) – The Georgia State Golf Association has named Ralph Stokes to its Board of Directors Executive Committee. Stokes, a veteran in the golf industry, is the Director of Partnership Marketing & Events for PGA TOUR Superstore headquartered in Atlanta.

In his current role, Stokes works closely with the PGA TOUR on behalf of the Company.  He also leads corporate efforts to establish and maintain partnerships within each local market by supporting charitable tournaments and local events, including The First Tee – an organization designed to help build brighter futures for youth through the game of golf.

Stokes, an avid golfer who plays to a single digit handicap, had a storied college football career at the University of Alabama playing for the legendary Paul “Bear” Bryant. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration there in 1975 and is a lifetime member of the University’s “A” Club.  His community involvement includes his service as Director on a number of Boards, including the Board of Visitors for the University of Alabama School of Commerce and Business, the Atlanta Public Golf Conservancy, Inc. and the AT&T Classic Foundation. Ralph previously served as a member of the Board of Directors for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Special Olympics Georgia and the Atlanta County Club, as well as a Volunteer Trainer at MUST Ministries homeless shelter.
