(HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA) –Srixon / Cleveland Golf / XXIO announced that Scott Carlyle has been appointed to the position of General Manager for the Global Brand Strategy Department at Dunlop Sport Co. Ltd., located in Kobe, Japan. In his new role, which becomes effective April 1, Carlyle will oversee the Global Brand Strategy Department, which is responsible for Global Product Planning and Management for the Srixon, Cleveland Golf and XXIO brands, as well as Licensing Business and Global Tour Planning.

Carlyle, who graduated from the University of California-Berkeley with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering, also received a Master of Business Administration from Pepperdine University. He started his career at Cleveland Golf in 2004, serving as a Project Engineer for Woods. Carlyle has held several prominent roles since then, including Product Manager for Wedges, Business Unit Leader for Wedges and Irons, and most recently as Vice President of Business Development for Srixon/Cleveland Golf/ XXIO - U.S.A.
