GolfBoards to Surf Fairways at all Ace Golf Courses

(Tampa, FL) - GolfBoard, a unique invention that has its roots in surfing and snowboarding, will debut next week at Ace Golf's three Tampa Bay area courses.

Named the PGA of America's best new golf product of 2014, GolfBoard is a four-wheel drive, gear-driven, posi-traction vehicle resembling a skateboard. The fun alternative to a golf cart allows the user to maintain full control of both the speed and direction of the board. A wireless hand-held or thumb throttle controls the speed, while the user controls direction through body movement.

Ace Golf, one of the first facilities in the area to offer GolfBoards, has scheduled March 7 demonstrations at Pebble Creek Golf Course and Wentworth Golf Club. Demo hours are from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Or, arrange to rent a GolfBoard (or two, or four) for your next outing by contacting the pro shop to get a link to the GolfBoard Safety Video and accompanying authorization form. Watch the video before your scheduled tee time, print and sign the acknowledgement and bring it to the club. Arrive at least 15 minutes early to allow for a new user training session.

Ace Golf is a local, family-owned golf management company with three golf courses and two driving ranges. To arrange a GolfBoard rental, contact your favorite course:
