Angel Park Named 'Best Golf Course' in Las Vegas Review-Journal Reader's Poll

(LAS VEGAS, Nevada) – Angel Park Golf Club was named “Best Golf Course” in Las Vegas in the 31st annual Best of Las Vegas  Reader’s Poll conducted by the Las Vegas Review-Journal. Taking top honors again, Angel Park maintained its popularity with the readers of Las Vegas’ largest daily newspaper.

“In a city where change is the only constant, Angel Park has maintained a strong position among local golfers for many years,” said Greg Brockelman, Director of Golf for Angel Park Golf Club. “Although we certainly cater to the crush of humanity that travels to Las Vegas each year, we never overlook the locals, and they know that.”

The editors of the Review Journal received 17,043 votes on paper and online during the three-week voting period in January. Despite the lion’s share of votes coming from the Las Vegas area, thanks to the internet, they also received votes from Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, the Cayman Islands, France, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, the Netherlands, the Philippines, Spain and the United Kingdom, to name a few.

Angel Park Golf Club is a 36-hole facility located in the Summerlin area of Las Vegas. Its Mountain Course and Palm Course were both designed by Arnold Palmer. The club also has a 12-hole Short Course, the World’s Original natural grass putting course and an expansive practice tee – all of which are lighted for evening enjoyment.

Great post, I love the Vegas golf courses, and I'm glad they are getting the recognition they deserve.

In the Philippines, I can say that Sherwood Hills in Cavite is one of the best courses in the Philippines.
