Troon, Troon-Managed Courses Raising Funds for Folds of Honor Foundation During Patriot Golf Days

Princeville Macai Golf Club
(Scottsdale, Ariz.) – Troon, the leader in club management, development, and marketing, and many of its managed golf facilities across the country are proud to support the 14th annual Patriot Golf Days, a joint fundraising campaign with PGA Hope that will be hosted Labor Day Weekend September 4 – 7, 2020.

Golfers playing Troon facilities throughout September and October will be raising funds to benefit the Folds of Honor Foundation through various golf tournaments, on-course competitions and playing opportunities. The mission of Folds of Honor is to provide post-secondary educational scholarships for children and spouses of military service men and women killed or disabled in the line of duty.

Over the past four years, Troon-managed facilities throughout the United States have raised more than $273,000 for the Folds of Honor Foundation through Patriot Golf Days activities. Since its inception in 2007, PGA Professionals have helped raise millions of dollars through Patriot Golf Day events, allowing Folds of Honor to award educational scholarships. Patriot Golf Days allows the Folds of Honor Foundation to present an ongoing tribute to the brave service members by ensuring that the families of fallen and wounded warriors have hope for the right educational start to life and best future possible.

“Troon, along with many of our managed-facilities, are proud to support Folds of Honor and its mission of giving back to the families of those who have given so much through their brave service and sacrifice,” said Bruce Glasco, chief operating officer, Troon. “We are excited to see so many of our facilities participating in Patriot Golf Days this year and look forward to making a sizable donation in the coming weeks.”
