Von See oversaw all operations for the brand’s Robotic Golf Swing Trainer, including sales and customer support for 45 facility owners and golf professionals, as well as domestic and international shipping and coordination of set up, training and maintenance for RoboGolfPro technology. The RoboGolfPro Robotic Golf Swing Trainer uses the V1 Pro system for video capture, analysis and playback, giving Von See a deep familiarity of V1’s technology and benefits in the instruction environment.
“It’s a thrill to join the V1 Sports team and work with a staff I have tremendous admiration and respect for while championing a product line that’s top in the industry,” Von See says. “I’ve built some great relationships with teaching professionals and other industry leaders through the years and I look forward to helping provide technology solutions for them that will keep their lessons on the cutting edge of technology and strengthen their client relationships.”
Von See, a Charleston, South Carolina native, is a graduate of Clemson University where she earned her BS in Graphic Communication. In fact, Von See recently helped set up students in Clemson’s Professional Golf Membership Program with full access to the V1 Game App, the dynamic new mobile app that enables golfers to gain powerful insights on the course and in their game without the need of external hardware. Clemson’s PGM students will monitor their shot tendencies and use V1 Game’s powerful game-tracking data (which includes Strokes Gained data on a variety of shot types) to understand their games in more detail and chart specific plans for improvement, checking in routinely with program director Rick Lucas.
Prior to her time at RoboGolfPro, Von See was Marketing and Production Manager and Airport Advertising Specialist for Departure Media Airport Advertising. Von See is also a developer of a brand called Team Candy Suckers, a distribution company that produces custom lollipops in the shape of college and MLB mascots and logos that are approved, authorized and licensed by the Collegiate Licensing Company and Major League Baseball.
“Mandy Von See is a perfect fit to promote and build business for V1 Sports,” says V1 Sports CEO Bryan Finnerty. “She has a unique appreciation for the solutions V1’s technology brings to the golf industry and has a great talent for building productive relationships across all segments of the industry. Her talents align ideally with the growth and trajectory V1 has been moving toward with our numerous advances in technology and cutting-edge video swing analysis systems.”
In addition to the newest 11th-generation software release V1 Sports’ leading video capture and swing analysis system, called V1 Pro Studio, Von See will have plenty of new teaching enhancements to share with golf instructors. For example, V1 Sports recently became the technology developer and global sales and marketing force for the V1 Pressure Mat (Powered by BodiTrak), the first portable and affordable mat to record balance distribution information and Center of Pressure (COP) during the golf swing. Combining real-time data on a golfer’s weight transfer with V1’s top-in-class camera systems and video software makes each lesson more impactful and can markedly expedite a player’s improvement.
One of the golf industry’s most trusted developers of game-improvement technology, V1 Sports also recently entered the GPS game-tracking mobile app arena with the dynamic V1 Game app. With the V1 Game app, a mobile phone or Apple Watch becomes a golfer’s personal caddie and shot tracker. V1 Game’s powerful GPS data provides accurate yardages to greens, hazards and landing zones to help you navigate the course like a professional. After a round is completed, V1 Game’s intuitive performance analysis technology provides statistics (including robust Strokes Gained data) that show the user’s strengths, weaknesses and paths to improvement.
