Kingsmill Resort’s three renowned 18-hole championship golf courses, the stunning River Course, the historic Plantation Course and the member-exclusive Woods Course, along with their celebrated golf academy and year-round golf instruction offer exciting variety and challenge in golf.
The atmosphere is always inspiring, especially during the Pure Silk Championship presented by Visit Williamsburg. This week-long event draws fans globally and will take place on the River Course, a 6,379-yard, Par 71, Pete Dye-designed layout, which has boasted a combined 37 LPGA and PGA victories from elite players.
Previous to joining Kingsmill Resort, Karbo started the company, Red Arrow Partnerships. As president, he worked with the LPGA and other companies focusing on sponsorship, sports marketing and event management. Prior to that, he was the Tournament Director with the LPGA Volvik Championship in Ann Arbor, Mich. where he established a new Official LPGA Tournament. His vision to create a sports event that would benefit the local community, support charity and grow the economy helped generate the weeklong event attendance of over 30,000 spectators and 575 event volunteers.
Karbo is a graduate of the University of Michigan and a Board Member of Giving Every Athlete Resources (G.E.A.R.).
