Golf Channel will run special re-airs of Feherty featuring Billy Casper on Monday at 9 a.m., 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. ET. The episode, which originally premiered in April, 2013, features David Feherty sitting down with Hall-of-Famer Billy Casper for an extensive interview on his life and career. Casper passed away on Saturday at age 83.
Below is an excerpt from Golf Channel’s news release on Feherty featuring Bill Casper in 2013:
David Feherty will sit down with golfing icon Billy Casper – a 51-time winner on the PGA TOUR and three-time major winner – at his Utah home. Probably the least known great player in the modern era of golf, Casper was second only to the great Arnold Palmer in PGA TOUR history to win $1 million as a player. A member of the World Golf Hall of Fame, he was a self-taught player who only took four lessons in his life, which has also been highlighted by a 60-year marriage and 11 children. A member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Casper takes Feherty to a rehearsal of the world-famous Mormon Tabernacle Choir during the episode and Feherty revels in the musical spirit of the moment.
