GolfTalk Live Heads to Myrtle Beach and World Amateur Handicap Championship

(PHILADELPHIA, Pa.) - The award-winning GolfTalk Live radio show is headed to Myrtle Beach once again - with an eye on the Myrtle Beach World Amateur Handicap Championship.

For the seventh consecutive year, GolfTalk Live host Tony Leodora will be joining almost 4,000 of his closest friends and competing in the world's largest golf tournament. He will bring all of the action - from start to finish - on the air waves and on the show's website, www.golftalklive.net.

Coverage begins with a special World Am Preview Show from the International Club on Saturday, August 23. The International Club, in Murrells Inlet, is one of the 60 golf courses hosting the World Amateur Handicap Championship. It is also the 100th golf course Leodora played along Myrtle Beach's Grand Strand - a feat he accomplished in June. He will talk about playing all of the courses in the Myrtle Beach area, as well as what lies ahead in the week of competition.

Also, beginning Monday, Leodora will begin running a series of daily stories on the World Amateur Handicap Championship. They will run through to the championship final on Friday, August 29. Through the years, his first-person stories from the tournament have been very humorous and entertaining. To read the daily stories, just go to www.golftalklive.net and hit the Blog button.

On Saturday, August 30 the GolfTalk Live show will feature a recap of the week's action - including interviews with some of the participants and celebrity guests. Of course, there will be an interview with the ultimate champion.
