Lynx Golf Launches Prowler VT Driver with Switch-Face Technology

Interchangeable Faces Offer Golfers True Loft Adjustability

(Weybridge, Surrey, UK) – Lynx Golf – the iconic equipment brand trusted by multiple major championship winners over its storied history – introduces the Prowler VT Driver with Switch-Face Technology, a revolutionary new driver with interchangeable faces offering golfers the ability to adjust the true loft of their club.

Originally introduced as a prototype at the 2019 PGA Merchandise Show, the design was recently awarded conforming status by the USGA. The driver will be available for purchase this spring at select retailers and LynxGolfUSA.com.

The result of nearly a decade of trials and testing, the Prowler VT Driver with Switch-Face Technology delivers the most accurately-flexible and high-performing golf driver available in the market today. Traditional adjustable drivers change loft by rotating the clubhead around the hosel, resulting in the face sitting open or closed relative to the target. Switch Face allows golfers to change the true loft of the hitting surface while keeping the clubhead square to the ball.

The entire hitting face of the driver is completely removable and is secured to the clubhead via attachment screws that remain embedded in the face. At launch, the company is offering faces in five different lofts (8-degrees, 9-degrees, 10-degrees, 11-degrees and 12-degrees) as well as five different options for an open or closed face, giving golfers 25 different loft and face angle options.

“When the Prowler VT with Switch Face debuted last year, it was one of the most talked about products at the show,” says Steve Elford, CEO and co-owner of Lynx Golf. “We are excited to now give golfers around the world an opportunity to experience the groundbreaking technology for themselves.”

Additional benefits offered by the Prowler VT Driver’s design include an increased MOI which comes as a result of moving weight once occupied by an adjustable hosel to the perimeter of the driver head via the face’s attachment screws. Greater ball speed and forgiveness come thanks to the company’s Effective Energy Transfer system, found inside each face, which equally disperses the ball’s impact force throughout the hitting surface.

Founded in the 1970’s by John Riley Sr. and Carl Ross, Lynx Golf quickly established a large and loyal following among the game’s best players. This included legendary ambassadors who trusted the brand to help them capture victories at the 1992 Masters and 1994 US Open, among other wins.
