(BOURBON, MO) – Imperial, the #1 headwear brand for private golf facilities as reported by the Association of Golf Merchandisers (AGM) in their Member Survey, the last four consecutive years, will showcase their new 2020 collection at the 2020 PGA Merchandise show. The brand will showcase their products and heritage, as well as take meetings in booth 5273.
The new product catalog and state-of-the-art decoration techniques debuted for Imperial Headwear representatives this summer, including an all new collection called The DNA Project, The Imperial Carry bags and new Junior styles.
“Imperial is really leading the headwear category in product styling, quick-turn decoration options and replenishment speed,” said Shelley Tomaszewski, Golf Shop Manager at Houston Country Club. “I’m really glad to see them expanding their T-shirt offering, as well as new categories such as headcovers and luggage. My sell through velocity and profit margins with Imperial are some of the best — if not the best — in my shop.”
The 2020 Collection from Imperial is an impressive new range of lifestyle accessories including new product categories, decoration techniques and 40 new styles in total. But Imperial’s new wholesale programs are perhaps the most attractive part of the 2020 offering. For PGA Professionals these programs provide extreme customization in small minimums, quick turnaround, inventory control and an overall service provider to encourage retail success.
“Each year, we are proud and excited to bring new retail solutions to the golf market, and 2020 is no different,” said David Shaffer, Vice President of Sales and Marketing. “Our quick-turn decorations and product options continue to grow and differentiate Imperial. We look forward to working with golf shops to bring the best products to their lineups and giving golfers even more lifestyle options to choose from in 2020.”
Quick highlights of Imperial’s 2020 offering:
3D Insignia – A new addition to the 3D Insignia patch are the chrome, colored chrome and transparent edge finishes. State-of-the-art high frequency PU welded patch with raised surfaces and is exclusive to Imperial. 3D Insignia achieves staggering detail, color and logo accuracy. This decoration technique is a perfect match for Imperial’s best selling performance headwear styles with thin, light fabrication.
The DNA Project – Inspired by our past products with a nod to modern fit and style, Imperial welcomes The DNA Project to the 2020 Collection. Imperial is in its 103rd year as a company and the hats in this collection showcase our position as a trailblazer in golf headwear. One style from each decade between 1950 to 1990 was selected to represent Imperial’s place in golf fashion. The collection includes five-panel rope hats, mesh crown hats and bucket hats, corduroy rope hats, nylon fabrics, and even a ‘scrambled eggs’ applique.
The Imperial Carry – Imperial extends its accessories line with five new luxury products, including an all-premium leather duffel bag, a garment-washed cotton canvas duffel bag with leather accents, a garment-washed cotton canvas dopp kit and two premium leather headcovers. As with all Imperial products, there are customization options for each of these new styles.
Junior Styles – Imperial’s most beloved styles are now available for juniors, including a rope hat, Tour Visor, sun-protection hat and oxford bucket.
