Three Facilities Included in State’s ‘Top Courses’ List 

(RESTON, Va.) – Billy Casper Golf (BCG) – the highly respected and innovative manager of over 160 golf courses, country clubs and resorts – has been honored in Golf Advisor’s annual “Best of 2019: Virginia’s Best Golf Courses” with the inclusion of Brickshire Golf Club (Providence Forge), Colonial Heritage (Williamsburg) and Spring Creek Golf Club (Zion Crossroads).

With Brickshire sitting at No. 24, Colonial Heritage at No. 20 and Spring Creek at No. 2, this is the first time BCG has had three partners in the “Virginia’s Best Golf Courses” list in its history. While Colonial Heritage has been a BCG-managed facility since 2015, Brickshire and Spring Creek were new additions to the BCG portfolio in 2019. In fact, this is the highest-ranking Spring Creek has received after coming in at No. 3 in 2018.

The annual Golf Advisor Golfers' Choice lists are compiled by analyzing the ratings and reviews submitted by members of their review community throughout 2019. Reviews from trusted and active members are weighted heavier than inactive members. Courses must offer public access and have received at least one review in 2019 to be eligible for the current year's list.

Brickshire and Spring Creek are managed by Billy Casper Golf, while Colonial Heritage falls under Billy Casper Signature, BCG’s home owners association community and private club management division. BCG oversees clubhouse operations, golf course maintenance, marketing and sales, staffing and training, merchandising, golf instruction and financial management for all three clubs. Under BCG’s leadership, both golf and non-golf programming is central to moving forward into the new decade.

Brickshire, Colonial Heritage and Spring Creek represent three of the 16 facilities partnered with BCG in Virginia.
