Four Days of Live Action from The Northern Trust Airing on ESPN+ as FedExCup Playoffs Begin
(RELEASE) - Tiger Woods, playing in the FedExCup Playoffs for the first time in five years, and Brooks Koepka, winner of two of this year’s four golf majors, will be among the stars in featured group action airing on ESPN+ Thursday morning from The Northern Trust.
The tournament at Ridgewood Country Club in Paramus, N.J., opens the playoffs and Thursday will be the first of four days of live PGA TOUR action on ESPN+. Golf fans will be able to watch ESPN+ for coverage throughout the FedExCup Playoffs.
Woods, grouped with Marc Leishman and Tommy Fleetwood, tees off at 7:54 a.m. ET on Thursday and fans can see his full round on ESPN+.
Koepka, who won the U.S. Open and the PGA Championship this year, tees off at 8:05 a.m. in a power-packed group that also includes World No. 1 Dustin Johnson and World No. 3 Justin Thomas, the defending FedExCup champion.
Both featured groups will start from the 9th tee, with coverage beginning at 7:30 a.m.
ESPN+ viewers also will be able to watch featured hole coverage from the Par 3 No. 15, as well as the Par 5 No. 17, beginning at 3 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, 1 p.m. on Saturday and noon on Sunday.
ESPN+ is offering golf fans 50 days of coverage from 20 PGA TOUR events this season, including the FedExCup Playoffs.
