Nexbelt Tour Staff Professionals capture two Wins and a Top 5 on Tour

(Rancho Cucamonga) - Nexbelt, The Fastest Growing Belt in Golf, captured two wins and a Top 5 on the Champions, Web.com and LPGA Tours this past weekend.

At the Boeing Classic, Scott Parel birdied the last six holes of the front nine at the TPC Snoqualmie Ridge outside Seattle to grab a three stroke lead and held on to capture his first PGA Tour Champions victory in this his 57th start. He shot a nine-under par 63, a career best on the PGA Tour Champions. "Very special, obviously," said Parel. "It's so new. I've been playing so well I've been thinking I was able to win. I was hoping I could put it together. Like I [said] after Friday, it's like a dream out here. I pinch myself when I'm out here, and to actually win is a blessing."

After capturing the 36-hole lead at the Web.com Tour's Nationwide Children's Hospital Championship, Robert Streb appeared calm and confident, remarking to media that he knew he had what it took to capture the title at the end of the week. Streb backed up his claim with strong play in the final two rounds in Columbus, carding rounds of 68 and 71 on the weekend to finish the tournament at 12-under 272 and force a playoff with fellow PGA TOUR winner Peter Malnati. Streb defeated Malnati on the first hole in sudden death and secured his card on the PGA TOUR for the 2018-19 season. "It's really nice," Streb remarked. "It's been a pretty big struggle all year. I played a lot and was not playing well, so it's really nice to get that knocked out the first week. (Now I'm) just going to work on improving and get ready for next year."

On the LPGA Tour, at the CP Women's Open in Canada, Austin Ernst recorded rounds of 66, 69, 70 and 69 to finish at 14 under par and a T-4th Place Finish. This is her fourth Top 10 Finish of the season. She is currently ranked 35th in the Rolex Ranking and 19th in the Race to the CME Globe.
