Industry Veteran Rejoins KemperSports as Senior Vice President of Operations
(NORTHBROOK, Ill.) – KemperSports announced today that Mark Hoesing will return to the company to serve as Senior Vice President of Operations supporting the East Region.
First joining KemperSports in 1999, Hoesing grew his career from General Manager to eventually overseeing a large number of properties in the west region. Among his accomplishments were the launch of nine new properties, including Chambers Bay, host of the 2015 U.S. Open. In 2012, he left the company to pursue a job outside the golf industry.
As Senior Vice President of Operations, Mark will be responsible for overseeing a growing portfolio of daily fee, private and resort golf courses in the east region.
For the past two years, Hoesing held a senior leadership position at a large facility management company where he was responsible for a portfolio containing more than 50 venues and $300M in revenues. The portfolio also included concessions, premium food and beverage, and facility maintenance services at major stadiums, arenas, amphitheaters, and convention centers.
“We are fortunate to have Mark return,” said KemperSports CEO Steve Skinner. “He is an experienced operator with a wealth of experience with all types of golf properties and will be a valuable resource for a management team and clients.”
Hoesing will be relocating to the Chicago area and working from KemperSports home office in Northbrook, Ill.
