(Helsinki, Finland) – Golf GameBook, the free smartphone app featuring a golf community, live scoring, tournament manager and social chat, has released new iOS feature upgrades, giving users the ability to rate golf courses, compare scoring stats, and browse photos from all past games.
Hole-by-Hole statistics comparison
This new functionality will allow golfers to compare their score on any hole they play with scores posted by other Golf GameBook users, and against previous scores the user has posted for the hole. Golfers will also be able to compare their score against their own handicap group, benchmarking their performance against players with similar ability.
Course ratings
Golfers can now star-rate any golf course they are playing, from the ‘Courses’ section of the main menu and the ‘full scorecard’ view, giving a Trip Advisor-style ranking that is shared across the Golf GameBook network to help other users pinpoint courses they wish to play in the future.
Photo browsing
Golfers can now view their own photos taken during all rounds of golf, and browse through them as an album.
Golf GameBook was founded by PGA professionals with the goal of making golf more relevant, fun and welcoming, and is the fastest-growing golf community in the world with more than 8500,000 app downloads.
