John Cook Wins with SLDR Driver, Tour Preferred Irons, adidas Golf Footwear

Victory is 10th Champions Tour Title for Cook and Another for Revolutionary Speed Pocket Technology Found in TaylorMade’s Tour Preferred Irons

(Carlsbad, Calif.) – TaylorMade’s John Cook (@johncookgolf) closed with a 3-under 69 to hold off a bounty of challengers en route to a one-stroke victory at the Nature Valley First Tee Open at Pebble Beach.

One of the longest hitters on the Champions Tour, Cook played his SLDR driver at 9.5 degrees to hit consistently long and straight drives and gamed the Tour Preferred MB irons (3-PW), setting himself up for a multitude of scoring opportunities on the greens. Cook’s putting was also on point, using his Spider Blade putter to card eighteen birdies with the Tour Preferred Golf ball on Pebble’s fast, undulated greens.
