PGA TOUR Superstore Opens First Store in Utah

Opening Includes $30,000 in giveaways and $15,000 Donation to First Tee Utah

(ATLANTA, GA) – PGA TOUR Superstore is ushering in a new experience for Salt Lake City area golfers with doors opening 9:00 am April 2 for the grand opening of its first interactive Sandy Utah retail store located at 10355 S State Street, east of I-15 off of State Street next to PetSmart and Nordstrom Rack (in a previous Staples location).

Known for its large-format interactive stores across the country, PGA TOUR Superstore’s new Sandy location (its 26th store in the U.S.) will be the largest golf retail store in the area and include a grand opening celebration with $30,000 in product giveaways to the first customers in line and a $15,000 donation to First Tee of Utah to provide area youth with the character-building experience of participating in sports.

The new 25,000 square foot PGA TOUR Superstore in Sandy will employ more than 25 associates, including PGA teaching professionals, and have multiple state-of-the-art swing simulators, practice hitting bays, a large putting green and an in-house club-making and repair facility to provide a unique, interactive experience to golf enthusiasts of all levels.

The Sandy PGA TOUR Superstore grand opening event will take place April 2 with doors opening 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and include $30,000 in giveaways, putting contests and swing evaluations. In addition to the grand opening festivities, PGA TOUR Superstore is also teaming up with First Tee of Utah and will present a check for $15,000, March 31 (6 p.m.) at a Friends & Family event at the store, to help inspire the next generation of golfers to learn how to play golf.
