(SCOTTSDALE, Ariz.) - The Gateway Pro Tour announced that The Antigua Group, a leading designer of men's, women's and children's lifestyle apparel and golf sportswear, has extended its sponsorship agreement with the Gateway Pro Tour for the 2013 season.

Antigua has solid roots in the golf market and has built a strong reputation with numerous golf tournaments and Tour professionals, including the PGA TOUR, LPGA Tour, Champions Tour and the Web.com Tour.

"All of us at Antigua are proud to be an official sponsor of the Gateway Pro Tour," said Ron McPherson, President and CEO of The Antigua Group. "We look forward to watching Gateway Pro Tour members graduate to the Web.com Tour and the PGA TOUR. Antigua has supported the Gateway Pro Tour for several years and to extend our relationship through 2013 is a great milestone for our company."

Sponsors provide an essential resource for the Gateway Pro Tour. Some of the ways sponsor money allows for the continued growth, success, and recognition of the Gateway Pro Tour are - Tour expansion, increased purse sizes, Nationwide and PGA TOUR exemptions, Q-School bonuses, administration, tournament equipment and materials, charity golf tournaments, community involvement and enhanced membership benefits.

"Antigua is clearly one of the leaders in the golf apparel industry and is a natural fit to partner with the Gateway Pro Tour," said Ryan Pray, Executive Director of the Gateway Pro Tour. "Sponsor support is important to the continued growth of our Tour, and we are excited to have Antigua on board again for 2013."

Antigua is one of a select group of companies invited to participate in the exclusive PGA Retirement Plus Program. The company's understanding of, and commitment to, the special needs of the golf market has resulted in the development of an event services division within its customer services department. Like everything the company does, the Antigua standard of customer service is developed with an understanding of the company's roots and a clear vision of its future.
