Boxgroove Partners with SkyGolf

Teaming up for Enhanced Customer, Club Experience

(BELLEVUE, Wash.) - Boxgroove (www.boxgroove.com), an innovative aggregator of elite and specialized tee time services, and SkyGolf, makers of the #1 rated and most trusted rangefinders in golf, have reached an agreement that will add over 1 million prospective consumers of Boxgroove's unique services.

Through Boxgroove, which is the newest corporate member of the Platinum SkyRewards Partner Program, active SkyGolf members will be able to enjoy a Value Membership in Boxgroove (normally a $49 annual fee) at no additional charge, effective immediately for 2013. The Boxgroove membership offers qualified golfers the opportunity to experience and explore new golf venues subject to acceptance criteria established by each of the almost 700 private courses throughout North America. The growing number of private courses participating in the Boxgroove network will benefit from having a huge influx of prospective golfers who represent the type of select golfers preferred at these private courses who are opening their course to non-member play.

"Four years ago, Boxgroove created a Web platform allowing private country clubs in North America to make traditional reciprocity easier," said McRedmond Morelli, founder and CEO of Boxgroove. "Our private club participants view our service as a dual benefit of being able to expose their club to prospective new members, while providing incremental income to clubs who typically have 40% or more of their tee times go unused. Now, as a result of becoming a SkyRewards Platinum Partner, SkyGolf's large and select golfer membership will enjoy exciting opportunities to play new courses, while our private club network will benefit from this expanded universe of qualified golfers who match the ideal demographic for guest privileges or a golf club membership."

By virtue of this new relationship, private club professionals now have the ability to expose their facilities to over 1 million active golfers in the United States and Canada. Each individual club maintains total control over what tee times are made available, as well as establishing the qualifications of prospective players and the pricing of the tee times accepted.

"SkyGolf is extremely pleased to welcome Boxgroove as our latest SkyRewards Platinum Partner, as it presents a great opportunity to offer our SkyCaddie members exclusive access to private golf courses as part of the SkyRewards program," said Richard Edmonson, CEO, SkyGolf. "If our members take advantage of this new and emerging service from Boxgroove, more and more courses will see the advantage of using those lost tee times to grow revenues, membership or both. We especially like how Boxgroove allows their course partners to be totally in charge of who plays, when they play and how much they charge for play. This is what makes it work for a private course."

Those interested in learning more about how their private course may benefit from the innovative approach of Boxgroove to drive additional revenue or prospective members to their course, are invited to visit the SkyCaddie booth, #765, at the PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando, Fla., Jan. 24-26, where representatives from Boxgroove will be present.
