Golf Digest 'America’s Greatest Courses' Raters Bestow Distinction on Salish Cliffs Golf Club

New Amenity of Little Creek Casino Resort Earns Top-10 Status in Washington

(SHELTON, Wash.) -  Salish Cliffs Golf Club at Little Creek Casino Resort – located a scenic and easy drive from Olympia and Seattle – earned top-10 status in Golf Digest’s biennial “2013-14 America’s Greatest Courses” by state list.

Despite its extreme “youth” – 2012 was the course’s first full season – Salish Cliffs ranked sixth in the state among hundreds of public and private courses considered for the list (included in the February, 2013 print issue, now on newsstands).

Golf Digest panelists score courses on seven criteria including memorability, design variety and conditioning.

“We are honored to be recognized in these areas by Golf Digest, an iconic national publication which began its ‘best-of’ course rankings decades ago,” said Salish Cliffs Head Golf Professional David Kass, PGA. “Earning this critical acclaim – and being in the company of some of the best-known courses and brands in the world – is humbling and rewards the dedication and commitment to excellence of the Squaxin Island Tribe, which owns and operates Salish Cliffs.”

In addition to the award-winning casino and hotel at Little Creek, the resort’s latest hospitality enhancements include a trio of scintillating amenities. The exceptional Seven Inlets Spa, the full-service RV Park, and the Skookum Spirit Cigar and Wine Lounge have all garnered rave reviews. The resort regularly attracts headline acts and entertainment at the Skookum Creek Event Center, including live professional boxing upcoming on Feb. 23.

Off-peak-season green fees at Salish Cliffs are currently $59 (Monday-Sunday) with a 10% discount for resort and RV park guests and a 5% discount for MVP Player card holders, Primetime Players (ages 50 and older) and military personnel. Rates include greens fee, cart, range balls and tax.

Tee times can be booked with a major credit card up to 30 days in advance at www.salish-cliffs.com. Advanced tee-time booking up to 60 days in advance is available for those with confirmed Little Creek Casino Resort hotel reservations by calling the golf shop at 360.462.3673.
