AHEAD to Launch 2013 Headwear Collection at PGA Merchandise Show

(NEW BEDFORD, Mass.) – AHEAD, the highly regarded headwear, accessories and apparel manufacturer, will launch its 2013 headwear collection at the 60th PGA Merchandise Show, Jan. 24-26 in Orlando, Fla.

“The 2013 headwear collection features the largest comprehensive assortment of headwear that AHEAD has ever brought to market,” said Scott Stone, National Sales Manager, Golf.  “Top on the list of new items are expansions of offerings in the popular technical and lightweight categories of headwear.”

AHEAD continues to lead in the area of technical performance headwear with the introduction of three new textured nylon “cool” styles of caps: solid performance, active vented sport and sporty nylon/mesh.  The popular textured nylon sport visor receives an array of new colors for 2013.

AHEAD also features a lightweight assortment of cotton hats; new to this category is the “C45LGT” with contrast stitching and eyelets which offers an alternative to the top selling solid.

AHEAD designs and manufactures its own branded lines of apparel, headwear, metal and leather Accessories, as well as golf gloves, for both men and women. All these pieces can be combined in “Tournament Gift packs” for a company’s next tournament or outing.

In addition, the company offers three apparel lines – PGA Authentic, AHEAD Apparel and Kate Lord for women.  The Kate Lord headwear line is offering new fashion colors for women across multiple styles that coordinate with the popular collection’s apparel.

“Our display manager will be on site to discuss how AHEAD can assist PGA professionals and buyers with custom fabricated fixture needs for their own shops utilizing the services of our display services division,” Stone added.

At its booth on Thursday afternoon (Jan. 24) at the PGA Merchandise Show, AHEAD will be hosting an opening day reception, complete with entertainment.
