LPGA Legend Dottie Pepper Debuts as a Special Guest on GOLFBETTER
(FORT WALTON BEACH, Fla.) - Edwin Watts Golf Shops, one of the world’s largest specialty golf retailers, announced that LPGA legend and current NBC Sports/Golf Channel Reporter Dottie Pepper will be this week’s special guest on “GOLFBETTER,” the retailer’s popular Podcast series.
Pepper, who will serve as an Assistant Captain for the United States team at the 2013 Solheim Cup, joins “GOLFBETTER” host Tom Brassell to discuss a number of topics, including her role at the upcoming Solheim Cup; learning the game as a youngster in New York; her time at Furman University; and her memories of competing on the LPGA TOUR, highlighted by 28 professional victories, including two majors.
Additionally, Pepper, who is a huge proponent of the golf industry’s new growth of the game initiatives, discusses the new children’s book she co-authored, “Bogey Tees Off,” which encourages kids to play the game of golf. Proceeds from her book sales support the Folds of Honor and LPGA Foundations.
