Boxgroove Adds Sylvania Country Club
(BELLEVUE, Wash.) – Boxgroove (www.boxgroove.com), an inventive, reliable online network offering golfers the opportunity to play private golf courses of their choosing, has added Sylvania Country Club, in Sylvania, Ohio, to the selection of private courses Boxgroove members can play.
"Sylvania Country Club has a rich history and a magnificent golf course," said McRedmond Morelli, founder and CEO of Boxgroove. "Boxgroove members will long remember their rounds of golf at his historic club."
The challenging course has brought many state and local tournaments to Sylvania. Past champions include such great names as Frank Stranahan, Byron Nelson, Arnold Palmer and Sylvania's own Mel Woelfling. The club, which has withstood economic and industry-wide changes since the beginning of the twentieth century, has preserved much of Park's original design. Today's course measures 6,837 yards with a par of 72. Many amenities and enhancements have been added through the years, yet the club preserves its historic elegance.
"Boxgroove is a wonderful way for us to introduce Sylvania Country Club to players who would otherwise not have access to our private facility," said Jason Stuller, PGA head golf professional at Sylvania Country Club. "We have complete control over who gets to play and the times they can play.
"It is an easy way for us to create extra income during certain parts of the season."
