GolfNow and GolfPass to Launch November Philanthropic Programs Highlighted by “Round-Up” Campaign to Benefit NFL’s Salute to Service
(ORLANDO, Fla.) – NBC Sports Next launches a new round-up feature today, created to generate funds that will help bolster the National Football League’s (NFL) ongoing efforts to support non-profits helping the U.S. military community across the world.
A significant element of the promotion includes a GolfNow “round-up” campaign throughout November, which will benefit NFL’s Salute to Service, the NFL’s year-round effort to honor, empower and connect the nation’s service members, veterans and their families.
The campaign will be promoted across a variety of NBC Sports platforms, both on-air and online, as well as social media spotlights of service members. The NFL and the five non-profit Salute to Service partners benefiting from the initiative – Bob Woodruff Foundation (BWF), Pat Tillman Foundation (PTF), Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS), United Service Organizations (USO) and Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) – will also look to support the campaign.
GolfNow, including its TeeOff brand, operates the largest online tee-time marketplace in golf and is the industry’s leading provider of golf course operations software and services to more than 9,000 courses worldwide. Anyone booking tee times on GolfNow or TeeOff in November will be provided the opportunity to round up the total cost of the reservation to an even-dollar figure. For example, if the cost of a tee time totals $34.65, the golfer can elect to round up the cost to $35, donating the additional $0.35 to the NFL’s Salute to Service. A similar and ongoing GolfNow round-up campaign has raised more than $1 million for Youth on Course since December 2020, with an average contribution of only $0.36.
“We’re honored to have the opportunity to join with the NFL as our way to say thanks to the heroic men and women in uniform, as well as the families who sacrifice to support them,” said Jerramy Hainline, SVP & GM, Golf, NBC Sports Next. “We’re also proud of all of our GolfNow customers who will showcase their generosity during this special month-long celebration.”
GolfPass, golf’s most comprehensive digital membership program, also will introduce its own special offer today to honor the military service community with an ongoing discount of 20 percent off a choice of two membership options:
GolfPass+ ($79 per year with discount) connects golfers with exclusive video content featuring top pros like Rory McIlroy and Jon Rahm, and world-class instructors, including Martin Hall and Chris Como, swing coach for Bryson DeChambeau. Also included is a variety of original programming and access to GOLF Channel’s vast programming archive, as well as tee-time credits at thousands of golf courses, discounts on travel and merchandise, and more.
GolfPass Video ($39 per year with discount) is a video-only option, providing access to all the same programming offered by GolfPass+.

“We’re continuously looking for ways to support those who have served and continue to serve through our Salute to Service initiative,” said Anna Isaacson, NFL SVP of Social Responsibility. “This year, we’re excited to work with NBC Sports Next to help support our nonprofit partners and the tremendous work they’re all doing to help our military communities.”
