Priester Joins Unique Golf Revenue-Generating Golf Surprize as Sales Manager

(PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla.)
– Veteran PGA of America professional Mark Priester has joined Golf Surprize as the Sales Manager for the unique revenue-generating software platform focused on golf events and course operators.

After success internationally, beginning in Australia with founder and CEO Anthony Robinson, Golf Surprize is being introduced into the U.S. marketplace this summer and fall and will be fully operational by early 2022 in time for the PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando, Fla.

Priester has been a Class A PGA of America member for more than 25 years, including ownership of his own shop for 13 years. The Columbia, S.C., native and graduate of the University of South Carolina has been well versed in all facets of the industry throughout his career, as the head professional at Pauma Valley (Calif.) Country Club, a private instructor at Carlsbad (Calif.) Golf Center and the Golf Sales Manager at The Grand Golf Club/Fairmont Grand Del Mar in San Diego.

“I believe that Golf Surprize can really help grow the game and benefit all levels of play,” Priester said. “It will interest people who play frequently and especially attract those who go out only once a month to play more often. Golf Surprize is a winning solution in several situations.

“Golf Surprize serves as an alternative to regular scoring and presents several opportunities that weren’t there before. If you make a good score on one hole or in one situation, players get great rewards from those accomplishments. There are more options to play and enjoy the game, appealing to new golfers, traditional golfers and bringing a diverse group to the sport to have more fun.”

Priester, a Fernandina Beach, Fla., resident, will at first focus on the golf-heavy Southeastern United States, from Virginia to Alabama.
