(SAN DIEGO, CA) – NextLinks, a leader and pioneer in indoor golf entertainment, announced today that the company is the presenting sponsor for the first ever “Skin in the Game” charity golf tournament. The event will be held today at the Cowboys Golf Club in Dallas, Texas, and benefits SknVue, the leading charity focused on skin cancer prevention and education.
“Having NextLinks as one of our premium sponsors for our first charity golf tournament means a lot to me and our organization,” said SknVue CEO Randy Wyant. They will be a great ally in all that we do to fight skin cancer globally, and I look forward to NextLInks becoming a perennial sponsor of this very special event.”
The SknVue “Skn in the Game” event will host a number of former football greats, including Ed “Too Tall Jones,” Billy Joe Dupree, Emerson Walls, and Doug Donley. Etched into the rolling hills of Grapevine, Texas, Cowboys Golf Club is distinguished as the first and only NFL-themed golf club in the world, and one of the region's only all-inclusive world-class resort golf properties.
“We are delighted and proud to be part of the SknVue charity golf event,” said NextLinks Chairman Dave Shultz. “Skin cancer is now the most prevalent cancer in the world, and 1 in 5 people will get skin cancer by age 70. We hope this tournament and all the efforts by SknVue will help turn the tide on skin cancer. We want to be a part of that journey.”
“We are so grateful to have our event at the iconic Cowboys Golf Club. What a way to start this charity golf tournament at such an extraordinary venue,” added Wyant.
