Forsgate Country Club’s Bill Schmedes III Recognized as One of the Best Young Teachers in America

(Monroe Township, N.J.) — Forsgate Country Club congratulates Bill Schmedes III, Director of Instruction for the Forsgate Golf Academy and a member of the club’s Teaching Professional staff, on being recognized by Golf Digest as one of the “Best Young Teachers in America (2021-2022).”   The accolade marks the fourth time the publication has cited Schmedes as one of the country’s top instructors under the age of 40.

Schmedes has been recognized as one of the top golf coaches in the country.  In addition to the Golf Digest national rating, Golf Tips Magazine named him a Top 30 Instructor, and he was selected as a Future Champions Golf Master Coach in the USA. 

Schmedes has worked under some of the top golf instructors in the world and has assisted more than 14 tour players on the PGA, LPGA, European and Korn Ferry Tours.  His junior students have won 150+ events around the world including two U.S. Kids Golf World Championships.  He also has coached a junior to the #1 ranking, and he has helped over 50 players obtain college golf scholarships.  Bill’s students have more than 250 tournament victories at the junior, amateur and professional levels.
