Chippo Golf Kicks Off Quarantine Challenge

(MASSAPEQUA, NY) – Chippo Golf - the revolutionary chipping game for the backyard, beach, tailgate, office and/or clubhouse – is encouraging Chippo Nation to stay home amid COVID-19, offering multiple discounts and launching the Quarantine Challenge - an online competition where fans can post videos of their best Chippo scores, while stuck at home, for a chance to win a limited number of prizes. Those interested will have till Tuesday, March 31 to submit an entry.

To join the challenge, participants need to post an unedited rolling video of five consecutive shots to Instagram with a caption including the total score. Two winners will be selected, including the highest posted score and a winner at random with both receiving free gear and/or gift cards from Foot Joy, Greyson Clothiers and Foray Golf USA. Additionally, Chippo Golf will be donating to the Center for Disaster Philanthropy’s COVID-19 Response Fund at the end of March as part of its Chippo for Charity initiative.

The game, also described as the “glorious lovechild of cornhole and golf,” consists of two target boards with two heavy duty chipping mats and six high-density foam balls from almostGolf.

Traditionally, Chippo is set up with two players per team with the boards separated 15-feet away, facing each other. Players earn one point for hitting the board on the fly, three points for draining a shot in the center hole and five points for sending the ball into a top corner hole. Double points can also be earned if the chip bounces off the chipping mat prior.
