Georgia club introduces Launchbox Golf after reaching milestone
(ROME, Ga.) – Stonebridge Golf Club – the storied Arthur Davis-designed golf course located one-hour northwest of Atlanta – will introduce Launchbox Golf in conjunction with its 25-year anniversary on Oct. 28, 2019.
October 2019 will mark Stonebridge Golf Club serving the local community and golfers for 25 years. To celebrate, it will open a brand new Launchbox Golf facility at its driving range on Oct. 28. Launchbox Golf, powered by Toptracer, is a virtual golf entertainment platform using flight tracking technology in a fun social setting. Guests will be able to compete in multiple contests and see who can shoot the best score on a variety of world-famous courses including Pebble Beach.
“We are thrilled to debut Launchbox Golf this month at our practice facility,” says Patrick Kirn, general manager of Stonebridge. “The program will offer a new and fun alternative to a normal range session or round of golf on the course.”
Opened in 1994, Stonebridge Golf Club is one of northern Georgia’s most popular courses. The 18-hole public golf course measures 6,816 yards from the longest tees and surrounds the spacious clubhouse, allowing for gorgeous views of the Lavender Mountains and abundant wildlife. The course features four sets of tees for all skill levels.
“Billy Casper Golf is proud to introduce our first Launchbox Golf facility at Stonebridge and just our second nationwide,” says, David Evangelista, regional director of marketing for Billy Casper Golf. “By hosting players of all skill levels and a multitude of personal and professional events, it will serve as a community asset for years to come.”
In 2019, Billy Casper Golf celebrates its 30th anniversary in building and refining the strongest operating platform in golf.
