(ORLANDO, Fla.) – Golf Channel’s primetime coverage of the 2015 World Long Drive Championship Tuesday and Wednesday night – featuring Tim Burke winning his second championship in three years – generated record ratings for the network.
Tuesday night’s Round of 16 was the most-watched airing of an opening night of the World Long Drive Championship, generating 156,000 viewers and a .16 rating, which is a 263 percent increase over the 2014 semifinals.
Wednesday night’s finals generated 185,000 viewers and a .18 rating, which is a 43 percent increase over the 2014 finals.
