Elite Designation Accorded to the Top Private Clubs in America
(HILTON HEAD, S.C.) - Sea Pines Country Club – the lone private club within Sea Pines featuring golf, tennis, multiple pools and fitness – has been awarded the prestigious Distinguished Club award by BoardRoom magazine.
“We’d like to congratulate Sea Pines County Club for earning Distinguished Club status,” said John Fornaro, publisher of BoardRoom magazine. “Special recognition goes to General Manager, Robbie Ames, as well as the club’s board of directors, department heads, and entire staff for their efforts in providing an excellent member experience.”
Sea Pines Country Club recently completed a $2.7 million renovation of its facilities. It refreshed its Blue Heron Pub and Grille, offering updated interiors and a new eclectic menu, rivaling the island’s top restaurants. Additionally, an indoor and outdoor pool renovation was completed, which modernized the existing saline indoor pool, the 24-meter outdoor pool, outdoor deck and built a brand-new children’s splash pool.
“We’re thrilled to have earned this honor, a title accorded to only the top five percent of private clubs in America,” says Ames. “We’re looking forward to a fantastic year as we begin the second phase of restorations to further enhance our member’s experience.”
Phase two of the club’s renovation will include an upgrade and expansion of the club’s fitness center with new locker rooms and equipment to augment wellness-focused programming.
