Lumen Technologies with its powerful capabilities will provide next-gen solutions for the NextLinks indoor eGolf arenas.
(SAN DIEGO, CA) – NextLinks, powering golf’s indoor future with stadium sized eGolf Arenas, today announced that Lumen Technologies (Lumen) has been chosen as a key collaborator in development of the company’s eGolf Arenas. Lumen’s depth of knowledge, wide range of solutions, and edge computing will prove to be invaluable on multiple levels.
Lumen is a multinational technology company that enables companies to capitalize on emerging applications and power the 4th Industrial Revolution. This revolution is redefining how we live and work, creating an unprecedented need for an advanced application delivery architecture—designed specifically to manage the complex and data-intensive workloads of next-gen technology and businesses.
“We are thrilled with this partnership. Our goal is to provide the best indoor golfing experience possible, to grow the game of golf into the leading indoor sport. To reach this goal, we must have the best technology available and that is Lumen. Their Edge Computing will help the eGolf Arenas to perform better, quickly, and more efficiently. Their technology will push and protect eGolf Arenas into the future,” said Dave Shultz, NextLinks Founder and Chairman of the Board.
“Two of their largest accounts are Salesforce and Zoom, which really says it all about high-speed, and reliable connectivity,” added Shultz.
NextLinks has elevated its own already high expectations of what a connected world of experiential golf venues will look like and is now executing a plan for five eGolf Arena projects to open within the United States by year end 2023. International licensing deals and further US growth are expected to add another 10-15 venues globally by 2027.
